From our wonderful photographer Susana Milman:
On August 1, Jerry’s birthday, Bobby and the Wolf Brothers (Don Was and Jay Lane) provided great music in a warmly communal atmosphere of love for Jerry at the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley CA. They did an excellent mix of Grateful Dead interspersed with Ratdog and old Weir tunes. The bass and drums created a deeply palpable vibrational energy, which Bobby topped with both lead and rhythm guitar and vocals. The second set opened with Steve Parish leading the band and audience singing happy birthday to Jerry. And because the other theme of the night was #STFU, we could actually hear every note!
