Jam Band Rocket Ship Goose Kicked off their Winter Tour in Tempe AZ opening for Pigeons Playing Ping Pong to a Packed Crowd of Curious Concert-Goers.

Jam band rocket ship Goose, from Norwalk, Connecticut, kicked off their winter tour in Tempe AZ as they opened for Pigeons Playing Ping Pong on a Wednesday night to a packed crowd of curious concert-goers. This was their first time in Arizona and if they were tentative or nervous, it certainly didn’t show. They busted straight out into a jamming Mustang Sally to start the night.
I find it super fun and entertaining when a band member plays more than one instrument and seeing the keyboard player, Peter Anspach, seriously laying down some awesome jams on the black and whites and then quickly pulling the guitar strapped around him for some mesmerizing killer licks, was awesome.
All four members are hugely talented musicians. They are high energy and fabulously fun. And quite personable and easily approachable as well. What a treat to see these guys now as they begin their certain road to fame in the jam band scene. Count me in as a new member of the Gaggle!
