Singer/songwriter/guitarist Michael Falzarano, currently with the New Riders of the Purple Sage for 15 years and formerly with Hot Tuna for close to 20 years, is joined by an extended family of ace musicians on his new timeless release A Kaleidoscope Christmas. “A family that plays together rocks together” especially at Christmas time. This release provides foot-stompin’, soul-searchin’, hip-swayin’, heart-liftin’ Christmas music throughout.

Falzarano wrote all songs (except the traditional Jingle Bells which he rearranged) and produced this CD that captures the spirit of the holidays while staying true to his Americana roots. The classic-sounding Yes It’s Christmas Time Again, Christmas Blues, The Tree Nobody Wanted and Ho Ho Ho,a new take on Jingle Bells in the Jingle Bells Jingle Jam, the straight-up rock ‘n roll sound of 4:20, 12/24, Boogie Woogie Christmas and It’s a God Almighty World, the subtle-sounding instrumentals The Eggnog Shuffle and Bethlehem Requiem for Diana, the majestic Psychedelic Cowboy Christmas and the New Year’s Eve anthem You’re Still Standing will prove timeless and spread joy for years to come!
